Smiley releases the video for “Nemuritori“, the fourth single from the album “Acasa“. The song “Nemuritori” is included in the soundtracks for #SELFIE, a movie which will have the premiere in theaters on May 9th, this year.
Smiley is also part of the cast directed by Cristina Iacob, along with important Romanian actors, like Florin Calinescu and Razvan Vasilescu.
The song is produced in the HaHaHa Production studios and is included as a bonus track on the artist’s latest album “Acasa“, album that has already sold over 30,000 copies and is still available in all specialized shops.
“I wrote this song thinking about the ordinary people who, through courage and the strength of their dreams, were able to make remarkable things, gaining this way their <<immortality >> in the collective memory or even among their circle of friends 🙂 .
The song is for every teenager, for everyone who is preparing to take exams soon, is about the age when we all think we are immortal, a feeling that should hold on our entire life”, said Smiley.
The first comedy with and about young people released in the recent years on the big screen in Romania, #SELFIE tells the story of three teenage girls, fresh high school graduates, who begin the adventure of their lives with an escape to the seaside.
Instead of staying home and learning for their final exams, Yasmine (Crina Semciuc), Roxi (Olimpia Melinte) and Ana (Flavia Hojda) are determined to have fun and forget about their responsibilities in the last two days before their maturity exam. That means violating any rules and doing everything that crosses their minds, without considering the consequences.
The video for “Nemuritori” was filmed at the Capitol Summer Theatre, where runs a party full of energy and color, which gathers all the characters of the film.
After three successful albums, film and television productions, national tours and numerous music awards, Smiley is undoubtedly one of the most beloved pop artists at the moment.
